Hennessey Venom GT Spyder - $1.1 million

Hennessey Performance Engineering produced the Venom GT to great success. It has broken many world records including the Guinness World Record for an average 0-186 mph (0-300 km/h) acceleration time of 13.63 seconds, making it the quickest production car in the world. Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler requested that a open-top version should be created of the Venom GT which would add 30 lbs to the car. Hennessey agreed and they increased the engine boost to 1,244 brake horsepower to keep the power/weight ratio at one horsepower-per-kilogram. The Venom GT Spyder is one of the fastest but most expensive convertibles on the roads today.
